Leeward Community Church was founded in 1970. Founding Pastor Rev. Fred King after six years of dedicated service resigned in 1976 . The late Steve Larsen pastored our community from August 1976 until May 1978. Sam Sherrard served as our Senior Pastor from June 1978 until his resignation in August 2007. Our average weekly Sunday attendance has grown to over 400 between the two services. Currently Rev. Willie Murray is serving as our Interim Senior Pastor, and along with his wife, Betty, come to us from Calgary, Canada.
